Yumza is made by Shamith Johan Hewa Pathiranage (Italy), the data controller. Contact: hello@houmkey.com.

Your profile (goal, age, height, weight, allergies, foods you dislike, diet such as vegan or halal), your meal diary, water, weight history, shopping list and dish photos are stored only on your iPhone. We cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

If you turn it on, a copy of your dish photos is saved in your iPhone photo library.

Only when you use a feature that needs the AI:

• Photo of a dish, product, fridge or receipt → analysed to give calories, nutrients and a health score.
• Text you type (e.g. “a plate of pasta”) → analysed the same way.
• Recipe requests and the coach → your answers plus a short summary of your profile (goal, allergies, diet, language; for the coach also sex, age, average weight, target weight, water and a summary of recent meals) so the suggestions fit you.
• A TikTok, Instagram or YouTube link → we read the public title, caption and cover image of that post.

This goes to our server (houmkey.com, hosted by Vercel) and to OpenAI (USA), which analyses it. We do not store your photos. To be faster and cheaper, our server keeps the AI answers (recipes, recipe lists, recipes from links) for 14 days, stored under a scrambled key, so the same question gets the same answer. The app asks for your OK before the first AI request. OpenAI keeps API data for up to 30 days to prevent abuse and does not use it to train its models. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Barcodes are looked up directly from your phone on Open Food Facts, a free public food database.

Recipe pictures are generated by AI and saved on our storage (Supabase) under the recipe name, so they can be shown again. They contain no personal data.

Your phone sends a random app ID with each AI request, only to stop abuse (a daily limit on requests). We count requests per day using a scrambled (hashed) version of that ID and of your internet address; these counters are deleted after a few days. They are not linked to your name, email or Apple ID.

We process data to provide the features you ask for (contract). Allergies and diet can be health-related: you choose to enter them and they are used only to adapt suggestions (your explicit consent, which you can withdraw by removing them in the app).

Reminders are created on your phone. No push server, no tracking. You can turn them off in the app or in iPhone Settings.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to processing, by writing to hello@houmkey.com. Since your data lives on your phone, you can also delete it at any time by removing the app. You can complain to your data protection authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Yumza gives estimates and general advice, not medical advice. It is meant for people aged 16 and over. If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.

Profilo (obiettivo, età, altezza, peso, allergie, cibi che non ti piacciono, dieta come vegana o halal), diario dei pasti, acqua, peso, lista della spesa e foto dei piatti restano solo sul tuo iPhone. Noi non li vediamo. Se cancelli l'app, si cancellano. Se lo attivi, una copia delle foto va nella Galleria.

Solo quando usi una funzione con l'AI: foto di piatto, prodotto, frigo o scontrino; testo che scrivi; richieste di ricette e coach (con un riassunto del profilo: obiettivo, allergie, dieta, lingua; per il coach anche sesso, età, peso medio, peso obiettivo, acqua e un riassunto dei pasti recenti); link di TikTok, Instagram o YouTube (leggiamo titolo, didascalia e copertina pubbliche). Tutto va al nostro server (houmkey.com, su Vercel) e a OpenAI (USA) per l'analisi. Noi non conserviamo le foto. Per andare più veloci, il server tiene le risposte dell'AI (ricette, liste, ricette da link) per 14 giorni, con una chiave cifrata. Prima della prima richiesta all'AI l'app chiede il tuo sì. OpenAI tiene i dati API fino a 30 giorni contro gli abusi e non li usa per addestrare i modelli. Il trasferimento negli USA si basa sul Data Privacy Framework UE–USA e sulle clausole contrattuali standard. I codici a barre si cercano dal telefono su Open Food Facts. Le foto delle ricette sono create dall'AI e salvate su Supabase col nome della ricetta, senza dati personali. Il telefono invia un codice casuale dell'app solo per limitare gli abusi: contiamo le richieste del giorno con un'impronta cifrata di quel codice e dell'indirizzo internet, e i conteggi si cancellano dopo pochi giorni. Non è collegato a nome, email o Apple ID.

Trattiamo i dati per darti le funzioni che chiedi (contratto). Allergie e dieta possono riguardare la salute: le inserisci tu e servono solo ad adattare i consigli (consenso esplicito, che ritiri togliendole dall'app).

I promemoria sono creati sul telefono. Nessun server di notifiche, nessun tracciamento. Li spegni dall'app o dalle Impostazioni.

Puoi chiedere accesso, rettifica, cancellazione o opporti al trattamento scrivendo a hello@houmkey.com. I dati sono sul telefono: puoi cancellarli quando vuoi togliendo l'app. Puoi fare reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
